Invader Antenna 5.8Ghz Polarised Receiver Patch
The Invader is a small well-built receiving patch antenna that has great performance when used with your headset or base station. While not just designed to look cool, the Invader penetrates everything in your FOV delivering a solid signal regardless of most interference.
I am Not an antenna expert, but I am an antenna horder! I love clean, clear video and I’ll try every antenna to get there.
How did the Invader perform?
I’m impressed, it definitely has less interference than the typical clovers I have been using. I really don’t fly directly behind myself much but if I do, a slight turn of my head keeps it dialed so no worries about dead spots. At distance straight in front of me, the invader is locked, over asphalt video stays clean where even my bluebeams get funky.
Not as delicate as it looks!
If you have tried similar patch antennas then you’ll know these things tend to get hung up on things and when made from cheap materials, they just fall apart. The Invader is high quality, and feels sturdy and natural on a headset. It fit exactly perfect if your using a diversity receiver.
